Be a florist for a while 🙂

Would you like to surprise your guests with a decorative touch for the table?

We’ll make it easy! We’ll show you how to create a small floral centrepiece in a few simple steps, with lovely results.

What do you need?

  • Main flowers (4 stems)
  • Complementary flowers (3 stems)
  • Gypsophila or limonium
  • Decorative foliage (olive, eucalyptus, mastic…)

Once you have everything ready, follow these steps to create your beautiful centrepiece.

  1. Clean all the stems, removing the leaves that will be hidden inside the vase.
  2. Cut all the stems diagonally to increase the surface area through which they absorb water.
  3. Separate the flowers into groups and note how many you have of each type.
  4. Start by holding one main flower in your non-writing hand: this will be the central flower. Arrange the other stems around it in a spiral. Use a little foliage to cushion the flowers and keep the stems from pressing against one another. Alternate the main flowers with the complementary ones.
Form the spiral with the lower ends of the stems pointing towards your writing hand. This makes the arrangement easier to handle without your body getting in the way.
  5. Once your small bouquet is ready, fill any gaps with a little gypsophila or limonium, then surround it with your chosen foliage.
  6. To finish, trim the stems to fit your favourite vase and… voilà!
That wasn’t so difficult! Now you can practise as often as you like, with as many different flowers as you wish.

When you buy a bouquet on our website, you can also add extras and choose from our lovely vases.
