Today we present our new star, the Monstera Deliciosa (also known as Adam's Rib).
This popular name is due to the ribbed shape of its leaves as it grows, and is one of the most striking features of this beauty. That is why we call it Green Eva in our catalog.
The Monstera is a plant native to Mexico and Panama, accustomed to a warm climate. For that reason, here in Europe we must take care of it inside our homes so that it survives. This is because it does not tolerate low winter temperatures (it is recommended to keep it between 14 °C and 30 °C).
She told us that she likes to be watered twice a week in summer, and once in winter... Ah! And she doesn't like direct sun, she likes to see the light but always indirectly (she is a bit shy).
When it is hungry it feeds through its leaves with the light that reaches it, so you should clean the dust regularly. You can also give it a little treat by fertilizing it twice a month in spring.
Now that you know a little more about her, how about getting to know each other?
