On such a special day the rose becomes your favorite flower. A beauty of nature but nevertheless comes from different corners of the planet. Today we will tell you about the origin of our roses. Let's start.
Rosa Freedom
At BonBee we work with different types of roses. We choose them according to their quality. And this Valentine's Day we will work with a rose called Freedom. This rose comes from Ecuador or Colombia and is known for its durability and resistance. Years ago this was a rose with very irregular results. But today, thanks to the work of many people, this rose shows excellent results and looks a spectacular red. In addition to its characteristic elongated shape, the freedom rose is a rose that does not stand out for having a large number of thorns, although do not trust it too much since it is still a rose.
And what happened to the famous Red Naomi?
Red Naomi is a rose of South American origin. It used to be imported from Latin America and, from Holland, it was distributed throughout the European continent. In the early 2010s, it began to be cultivated in Europe in large greenhouses that repstemuced the American climate. At first it didn't seem like a bad idea, since it was possible to repstemuce in Europe a rose that previously had to be imported. The problem is that investing in R&D is not cheap, and to avoid the irregular harvests that occurred in recent years the rose became more expensive. For these reasons, irregularity in quality and rising prices, we decided that the Freedom roses would be the roses that would accompany us from now on.
